Meet the face
behind the posts
I was raised up in the country by my parents and in the summers on the farm by my grandparents. We walked barefoot everywhere, played outside until it was pitch dark, played stick ball with rocks from the yard and a limb from a tree, we road in the back of the truck and didn't wear our seatbelts! My grandma would cook 3 full meals a day starting at 5 am, lunch at noon and dinner at 5. We did our chores, feeding the chickens, milking the cows, or picking peas and shelling them. We didn't have a care in the world! I was raised on the simple life, but was moved to the city at 13. Let me tell ya, that was a harsh blow to my outside world. Too much concrete for me! Now that I'm an adult, I've moved back to the country, back to nature, back to living the simple life. My blog is just an excerpt of our little simple life! Join me as we share our simple life in "a small snug place."
